Hello, I’m Glen, the business owner of Together Green Gardening Services, based in Hayley Green, Halesowen. I just wanted to tell you about myself and becoming one of your local established and reliable gardeners.
Since I was a young lad, I’ve had a genuine love for nature, wildlife and being outdoors. My journey began with simple childhood moments like climbing apple trees and watching birds flit through hedges on weekend trips in the fields of Herefordshire with my late grandad.
This passion has never gone away and I appreciated it even more as I got older and had two children with my special wife. From a very young age, I always looked for opportunities to get them outdoors and looked for those little things in nature that can so easily be overlooked in today’s fast paced world.
Over time, that passion naturally grew into the idea of starting my own business. I realised I had already developed practical skills through many years of caring for my own garden, helping friends and family with theirs, and working on a university campus maintaining large outdoor spaces. These experiences gave me a greater understanding of garden care, attention to detail, and how outdoor spaces can thrive when they’re properly cared for. Alongside this, I realised that I had the knowledge, enthusiasm and passion to help more people enjoy their gardens, experience the mental health benefits of being outdoors, and appreciate how the smallest of actions can make a big difference to local wildlife.
